The Byrd Cancer Education & Advocacy Foundation Announces 2nd Annual All Things Cancer & Wellness Expo

Philadelphia, PA – November 19, 2024 – The Byrd Cancer Education & Advocacy Foundation is proud to announce the 2nd Annual All Things Cancer & Wellness Expo, set to take place on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City, 237 South Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19107

This transformative event invites individuals, healthcare professionals, and wellness advocates from all walks of life to connect, learn, and inspire change in the fight against cancer. With a mission to foster knowledge-sharing, provide empowerment, and create meaningful connections, the Expo is a space where innovation, wellness, and hope come together.

Event Highlights:

  • Insightful Panels: Discussions with experts and thrivers on topics such as reducing cancer risk, integrating Western and holistic medicine, and surviving cancer.
  • Hands-On Workshops: Engage in activities like yoga, reiki, sewing, nutrition demos, and more.
  • Community Conversations: Dedicated spaces for men’s health and  LGBTQIA+ health
  • Memorial and Thriver Walls: Honoring those we’ve lost and celebrating the resilience of survivors.
  • Vendor Opportunities: Explore offerings from local businesses, healthcare providers, and wellness practitioners.
  • Health Screenings & Wellness Services: On-site screenings for health, breast cancer, along with alternative therapies and self-care resources.
