I initially go back to the day I was told “it’s cancer” because one of my most frequently asked questions was “how”. And at that moment I had no idea “how”. As I embarked on a new journey, God began to reveal my family’s extensive cancer history. The more I learned the more I felt inclined to share with my immediate family. From there I shared the importance of knowing your family’s health history with everyone I came into contact within my community. Possibly having the opportunity to share resources with OUR community has allowed me to see the bugger picture. I’m ready to sew seeds and serve.
