Connecting Communities to Cancer Care Resources
Bridging the gap between providers and individuals seeking support.
This program is proudly sponsored by the AstraZeneca US ACT on #HealthEquity Community Solutions Challenge. Through this partnership, Byrd Cancer Foundation’s Cancer Connect Program supports underserved communities by providing access to cancer education, resources, and advocacy. Together, we strive to advance health equity and shape a more equitable future for all.
The Cancer Connect Navigator Program is dedicated to helping individuals and caretakers navigate their cancer journey by connecting them to essential resources and support services. Our mission is to ensure that no one faces cancer alone, offering personalized guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance.
Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, or community organization, our goal is to connect you with the resources you need, from emotional and financial support to wellness services.
- Housekeeping, lawn care, and childcare assistance
- Access to support groups and counseling services
- Wellness programs including nutrition counseling, yoga, and massage therapy
- We work closely with healthcare providers and organizations like Unite For Her and other resources to ensure patients receive access to specialized cancer wellness services.
Empowering Communities Through Knowledge
Education is a cornerstone of our Cancer Connect Program. We provide workshops, informational guides, and campaigns to raise awareness about cancer risks, early detection, and treatment options. Our goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge they need to take proactive steps in their health journey.
